ENFIELD — Police say they are searching for a blue Chevy Silverado and its driver that may have been involved in a hit-and-run collision on Post Road on Halloween.
Police are investigating a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian that occurred between 5 and 6 a.m. on Post Road near the intersection with Phoenix Avenue Oct. 31. The pedestrian, who was found injured by the roadside, suffered serious injuries and was transported to St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, police said.
The man was left lacking any memory of what happened to him, police said. On Nov. 11, Enfield police Lt. Thomas Foy surmised that the man was either hit by a car or beaten up by a group.
Police are searching for more information about a truck, which they say has a silver toolbox, that was traveling eastbound on Post Road at the time of the crash. The car might have sustained damages to the passenger-side review mirror and damage on the passenger side, police said.
